SECRET #1 - NO FIRM COMPLETION DATE OR TIME TO FINISH THE JOB

SECRET #2 - WARRANTY COVERED ONLY DURING “NORMAL” WORKING HOURS
Ok, so you have a warranty. But, when is it covered at your convenience or at
their convenience. Most Ohio heating and cooling companies charge EXTRA to
cover their warranty if something happens after 4 p.m. or on weekends and
holidays.
SECRET #3 - THIS IS THE PRICE, UNLESS THE JOB IS HARDER THAN WE THOUGHT

SECRET #4 - IF IT’S SIZED WRONG, IT’S YOUR FAULT NOT THEIRS

better and then see. Well we have new for you, extreme conditions are a fact
of life and your unit should heat or cool your home on the hottest and coldest

SECRET #5 - THE UNIT IS UNDER WARRANTY, BUT NOTHING ELSE IS
All of our work carries a minimum of 1-2 year parts and labor warranty.
However, many fixtures that we install have even longer warranties. Our hot
water heaters for example come with a 7 year parts and labor warranty. You
won't find anyone else in our market offering a warranty like that. And should
you encounter problems with the fixture we install while it's under warranty -
you won't have to fight us tooth and nail to get us to honor our warranty.
We'll gladly come back and take care of things for you. Just like we promised.

SECRET #6 - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING THE MESS & GARBAGE
Believe it or not, some companies will not clean up after themselves. The feel
it is your responsibility. At A Custom Heating and Air Conditioning we state
in our contract, “We will clean up work areas to their original condition
including removal of existing equipment from premises.” Let us take out the
trash, not you.
SECRET #7 - WORK NOT DONE TO MEET LOCAL BUILDING CODES
Some Heating and Cooling contractors in Ohio will shortcut the work to the
point where the install does meet the local codes. You will never know this
until you sell the home and the buyers home inspector tells you in his report.
The contractor then charges you again for what should have been done right the
first time. We state in writing, “All work performed will meet or exceed
existing written local building codes. “ You only have to pay us once to do it
right.
